We're about to take you through an incredible length retention routine that yielded remarkable results for many of our valued clients. Get ready to transform your hair with patience, care, and the Loc'd Affinity Haircare system.

Step 1: Protective Braids or Styling (Weeks 1-8)

• Start your journey by opting for low-tension knotless braids, ensuring minimal stress on your hair.

• If you have Dreadlocks twist or braid into plaits as a protective style.

• Use the Loc'd Affinity Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner diluted twice a month to maintain a clean and healthy scalp while in braids.

• Rinse with clean very well.

• Between wash days, spritz your braids with purified water to keep them hydrated.

• Apply Loc'd Affinity's Leave-In Treatment to maintain moisture levels, followed by sealing with our nourishing sealing oil. Use penetrating oils before sealing oils.

Step 2a: Detangling and Break (Weeks 8-12)

• After eight weeks, it's time for a detangling session. Carefully remove the extensions or Loc Style carefully, section by section.

• Be sure not to cut your own hair when removing the extension hair.

• Use a detangling product to ease the process, ensuring minimal hair breakage.

• Comb each braided section gently starting from the bottom up.

• Follow up with a clarifying shampoo and a deep moisture treatment using Loc'd Affinity products.

• Twist your natural hair into two-strand twists as a break from extensions, wearing this style for Four Weeks.

Step 2b: About the Two-Strand Twists (Weeks 8-12 cont.)

• During the third month, embrace your natural beauty by wearing two-strand twists styles.

• Continue to shampoo and condition your hair at least once a month with Loc'd Affinity products.

• Maintain moisture by applying our Leave-In Treatment and sealing with our sealing oil.

• Wear for 4 weeks this is the end of the first cycle.

• The cycle consist of 2 months of protective styling and a moisture treatment, followed by 1 month of no extension protective styling, a protein treatment and finishing with the take down and a Trim.

Step 4: Cycle Complete and Re-Braiding Round Two (Weeks 1-8)

• Here's another round of low-tension knotless braids.

• Remove the natural twist or Loc Style.

• Clarify and get a protein treatment and condition to prep for your braids or Loc Style.

• Remember to trim your ends every 12 weeks to maintain healthy growth.

• Install Knotless braids, or protective style of your choosing.

• Keep your hair and scalp in excellent condition by following the same moisturizing routine from above.

• Embrace the versatility of braids, knowing that you're preserving and promoting your hair's length and health.

Step 5: Repeat 4 Cycles and Celebrate!

• Repeat the 3 month cycle 4 times for a total of 12 months.

• Congratulations on completing a full year of the length retention routine!

• Continue the cycle as needed to achieve and maintain the desired length.
